Audio: Odd Samples from North China

I’ve recorded and uploaded audio from people who were in my vicinity at various times.

1. The Human Rooster: A man who, nearly every morning around 7:30, would sing and chant from under a small bridge. This was recorded from my window on the 13th floor:

2. Chinese kids (ages 8-12) sing John Denver’s “Country Road, Take Me Home: I took a trip with around twenty Chinese kids to Beijing this summer (2014), and some of them rehearsed John Denver’s “Country Road, Take Me Home” for the final night of our trip:
